a multi-disciplinary product designer. I'm currently at Deloitte Digital, where I've focused on projects from industries such as travel, hospitality and healthcare. Before design, I worked in international business and global development, which helped me clarify my career goals and discover how UX practices can increase the effectiveness of development efforts. I studied political science and international studies at Northwestern University, with a focus on global development.
having a diversified skillset across multiple disciplines makes for an effective designer. I’m as eager a student of visual design as I am of user research, content strategy, and front-end development. Right now, I'm working on my front-end skills via some side projects. In a team, you can count on me to communicate with empathy and candor, to design with intention, and to seek constant improvement.
how technology can nudge us toward more sustainable systems and can better adapt to the needs of non-digital natives. I try to take in a varied diet for inspiration: operas, books, music, paintings, and podcasts are where I turn most often. I'd like to learn more about biomimicry and motion design, so if you have book or resource recommendations, send them my way. Outside of design work, you'll find me reading books, climbing walls, and making travel plans.
